Ninja Mastery for Leaders is a follow-up to the Ninja Leadership course, which is the foundation for a manager seeking to guide agents along the Ninja Path. Leadership Mastery is designed to teach complete fluency in leading a Ninja office or company. We believe that there is a huge difference between familiarity with a subject matter and full command of the material. A group of 12-18 passionate managers and owners from around the world meet virtually every two weeks for a year to master the Ninja techniques of coaching to higher productivity, recruiting new talent and building a company culture. The culmination of the Leadership Mastery course is the opportunity to earn the coveted Certified Ninja Manager designation.

    Don Tennessen

    Mastery Guide

    Don joined The Group, Inc. in 1999 as a sales partner. He, and his wife Mary, installed Ninja Selling systems in their business through the mentorship of Larry Kendall. In 2006, Don accepted the Managing Broker responsibilities at The Group’s office in Greeley, CO. One year later Don took on the role of Learning Director at The Group. For several years he facilitated a weekly class for new Group partners, called Ninja 212. He has been teaching the Ninja Installation course with Larry Kendall since the inception of the program.

    Prior to his real estate career, Don spent many years in the healthcare industry, teaching workshops to senior housing communities on sales, marketing, and customer service training. He grew up in the radio broadcast business and worked his way through college doing college and high school play-by-play sports broadcasts.

As he expanded his portfolio he was drawn to real-estate sales and later management. He now manages a 65-agent office of Comey & Shepherd Realtors in Cincinnati, where he’s implemented the Ninja system for both new and experienced agents. He enjoys helping agents develop a customized path to achieving their goals and providing accountability for the system’s disciplines.

    Peter was first licensed as a Realtor in 1978. In his first year he sold 60 homes. Peter has been the co-founder and Co-CEO of Coldwell Banker Legacy which has been the #1 real estate firm in New Mexico since 1998. He sold his interest in the company in 2014 to become a full time Ninja Instructor. He holds the CCIM, CRS and CRB designations.
